Joe Pat Attaway was the first person to hire me into the public school system in 1982. Through him I learned so much, words cannot express my sadness at reading today that he had passed away. The Duncanville ISD vocational department was never as strong, nor enjoyed the strong support at the top that it had when he was at the helm.
