Betty, Vicky, Chris and all of Kenneth's family, I can't say anything different from all of the tributes that have been made. I wholly agree that he was a great man in the teaching and mentoring all of his years here on earth. I am happy and proud to say what a wonderful nephew, and was so proud to be called aunt! The service was very nice and a wonderful memorial. Thanks to all that prepared such a delicious meal and the chance to visit with family there.
May God bless each of you and give you His peace and comfort during the days to follow.
Love to all
Geraldine, Billy Blackstone and our families.

Mr. Chambliss was a big man with an even bigger heart. He was fair, honest , stern but you also felt like he truly wanted the best for each and every one of us. I know he brought a positive influence to many students over the years. I will always remember him standing at the front doors when we arrived at school and there as we left to go home.... Mr. Chambliss was such a great teacher and principal. He was soooo cool. The class of 1982 used their skip day to go to his house and visit with him after surgery, We let him guess who was behind all of our senior year shenanigans. He was pretty much spot on with all of his guesses. We just thought we had him fooled. My heart weighs heavy tonight. R.I.P. Mr. C.

It's hard to believe this and harder thinking of all the good this man did. Mr. Chambliss' influence, his kindness, his compassion, his leadership will live through those lives he touched as a teacher, mentor and the person we all strive to be. To the family, you will see his presence on every corner, every profession, and more than two generations of those he instilled a sense of worth in. He was a gentle giant and in the book of Genesis on the sixth day before he rested God looked over his work and said this is good. Your husband, father, friend, brother, and grandpa can look back over his work saying this was good. May the thought of this comfort you in this time of sorrow.

Mr Chambliss was a kind, caring, easy going man and teacher. He taught me in HS. One of my greatest memories was on gameday, Friday's, we would get him to talk football. He played in college and he would tell us how they did it in the good old days. I always admired and respected him. He always made me feel good whenever I talked to him. He was real. I thank God that Mr. Chambliss had a part in helping me become the man I am today. God bless you Chambliss Family.
