We had many good years with Billy Joe delivering parts to us at S&B Garage. Never a dull moment when He showed up. Chase and Him would have a good time visiting about Billy Joe's garden. Chase was good at persuading people into bringing him fresh vegetables because of the special diet He was on, NOT BILLY JOE! lol The one year Chase felt good enough to help us put in the biggest garden ever, Chase brought B.J. okra(small) because B.J.educated Chase on what to wear when you pick it (because of the stickers)and told him if anybody wanted fresh vegetables out of the garden we worked so hard in to tell them to get their own sack and pick it themselves. After that Chase and Billy Joe were the best of buddies. BIlly Joe also let Chase sign parts tickets and that made him feel really important. My final story, is when we were at 120 Linda Drive. The old shop that my Dad and Mom ran for 38 years . When Randy&I took over ownership we painted the building and Billy Joe drove around for two hours trying to find S & B Garage. Bless His Soul! A-1 called looking for Billy Joe worried. When He pulled up with those parts, He said he had never had that many problems delivering parts to a place as he did that day. He will be dearly missed! Billy Joe you have touched everyone in your path life with something good thats a quality thats hard to find these days, You always worked hard to support your family and you and elouise always had an open door to any and everyone that came by. you will missed by all who loved and knew you.
