Obituary of Floyd Hargrave

Funeral services for F. C. “Butch” Hargrave, age 74, of Sulphur Springs, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 2, 2012 at Brashear Baptist Church with Rev. David Burns officiating. Interment will follow at Nelta Cemetery with Rex Server, Randy Server, Lanny Server, Chad Argenbright, Corey Argenbright and Jason Frazier serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, January 1, 201 2 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Mr. Hargrave passed away Friday, December 30, 2011 at Baylor Regional Medical Center in Plano. Mr. Hargrave was born on June 23, 1937 in the Nelta Community in Hopkins County, TX, the son of Tom Calvin and Juanita Grace (Jobe) Hargrave. He married Gloria Best on May 19, 1956 in Lubbock, TX. She survives. Mr. Hargrave was a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of the Shriner’s, of the retired police officers association. He was also a member of Brashear Baptist Church. He was the caretaker of Nelta Cemetery. Other survivors include his daughter, Kim Seymour and husband Billy of Sayre, OK, brothers, Kenneth Hargrave and wife Cheryl of Brenham, TX, Tom Hargrave and wife Nancy of Cleburne, TX, sister-in-law, JoLinda Hargrave, grandchildren, Robert Seymour and wife Carrie, Richard Seymour, Nicholas Newsom, Katie Lucas and husband Matt , great- grandchildren, Blake, Jason and Bailey Seymour and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Douglas Kent Hargrave, brother, Gerald Joe Hargrave. Memorials may be made to the Brashear Baptist Building Fund, P. O.
