Obituary of Starla Rae Rose Hanson

Funeral services for Starla Rae Rose Hanson, age 17, of Brashear, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 15, 2018 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Harold B. Nash officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove North Cemetery with Jordan Chaney, J.T. Dugan, Adrian Harris, Juan Rivas, Benny Potter, Adarious Gordan, and Logan Daniels serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Sulphur Springs High School Class of 2020. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 14, 2018 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Starla passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018. She was born on February 21, 2001 in Sulphur Springs, the daughter of Stanley Harris and Melinda “Hanson” Rivas. Starla is survived by her parents, brothers, Jorge Armando Castelo of Como, Jeremy Harris of Sulphur Springs, sisters, Karina Cyan Gonzalez of Sulphur Springs, Alexia LeeAnn Castelo of Como, Ken’yata Harris of Sulphur Springs, Bridget Harris of Sulphur Springs, grandparents, Judy Hanson and husband Tommy Crofford, Stephen Upton, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
