Obituary of Benjamin Recardo Crook

Funeral services for Benjamin R. Crook, age 37, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, July 21, 2018, at Morning Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Mel Haven Cemetery. There will be no formal visitation. Benjamin passed away on Monday, July 9, 2018 at his residence. He was born on February 3, 1981 in Washington, DC, the son of Benjamin Craig Crook and Paulette Brown. He was a member of Morning Chapel Missionary Baptist Church where he was part of the male choir. Benjamin is survived by parents, brothers, LeBaron Q. Crook (Erica), Theodor Brown, Allen Brown, sisters, Charmian L. Crook, Lakiesha Brown, and Dorshire Brown, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Willie Crook, Betty Crook, and great-grandparents, Anita Crook, and professor John Edward Crook.
