Obituary of Jacqueline Book
Jacqueline Book of Commerce, Texas passed away Friday, May 25th. She was 92 years old and was at peace. Jackie was born in Hallsberg, Texas March 17, 1926 to William Hall and Ruby Melton; Storrs. She married Donald E. Book in 1943 in Watertown, New York. She taught school in Killeen, Texas for 23 years.
She moved to Commerce in 2009 and to be closer to her daughters. Jerry Ann Harris and her husband Karl Perkins live in Pittsburg, Tx. Petra Strassberg her youngest daughter lives in Commerce, Tx. Barbara and Tim Blanton live in Roatan, Honduras. Jackie was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brother, Jerry William Storrs.
Jackie's grandchildren are Alan Harris of Birmingham, Alabama. Dena and her husband Joe Dipiazza of Helena, Alabama and Jordan and her partner Sandy Moore of Tucson, Arizona.
In lieu of flowers please, make donations to the SCAMP summer program at the First Presbyterian Church in Commerce, Tx.
