Obituary of Mildred Broiles

Funeral services for Mildred Broiles age 84, of Emory will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 30, 2013 at Emory Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Burns officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery with Kevin Karl, Craig Karl, Darian Housewright, David Padilla, Sonia Broiles and Baine Housewright serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, December 29, 2013 at West Oaks Funeral Home in Sulphur Springs. Mrs. Broiles passed away Friday, December 27, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Broiles was born on June 28, 1929 in Delta County the daughter of Alvin and Mamie (Kendrick) Pope. She married Roy Broiles on March 1, 1947 and he preceded her in death. Mrs. Broiles worked as a Supervisor for Union Bankers for 18 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Emory Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Randy Lee Broiles of Emory and Vicki Lynn Dulany of Alba, grandchildren, Kevin Karl, Craig Karl, Lloyd Shelton, Sonia Broiles, Rhonda Broiles, Shelli Padilla, Darian Housewright, Keitha Broiles, Kristie Broiles and Keyla Broiles Morgan, 17 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Terry Keith Broiles, daughter, Patsy Sherrill Ord and sister, Rosa Allred.
