Dear Lee and all of Sherida's children. Thank you for sharing Sherida with us all these years. We were so blessed that she was also a member of the Charles and Ella Lee family. After my aunt died (Sherida's grandmother, Leona Harrison) Sherida made herself available to insure that our family reunions continued, just as those who had gone home to be with the Lord desired. She worked willingly and without complaint. I know that you will miss her as we all will; but thank God we have not lost her, because we know where she is. To the family of Sherida Smith, words can't express how sorry I am to hear of this loss. I am grateful that I had 23 plus years to share with Sherida and her family. Sherida was a one of a kind soul. I don't think she ever knew a stranger. She took me under her wing when I started working at wal-mart and never made me feel like I didn't belong. She encouraged me in ways that just a co-worker would but as a friend and family. She is one of the many reason I made a decision to move - she said I needed it to keep growing. Sending lots of love and prayers to her family - she will be missed greatly.
