Obituary of Truman Lee Renshaw

Funeral services for Truman Lee Renshaw, age 88, of Miller Grove will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Wesley United Methodist Church with Bro. Steve Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Miller Grove Cemetery with Brody Geoghegan, Jason Renshaw, Lee Renshaw, Darren Renshaw, Shawn Armstrong, Jack Wauson, Mitch Marable, and Dan Brown serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be The Crusader and Harvey Sunday School Classes, Tom Geoghegan, Wes Wauson, and Jordan Krause. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, February 10, 2018 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Truman passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Wesley Oaks Assisted Living in Sulphur Springs. He was born on September 14, 1929 in Miller Grove, the son of James Clarence and Leora Murriel Preston Renshaw. He married Wanda Lynn Hatcher on November 23, 1950 in Miller Grove. She preceded him in death in 2013. He worked as an agent for USDA for many years. He retired in 1984 to work on the farm. Truman is survived by son, Kent Renshaw and wife Lori of Miller Grove, daughters, Kathy Geoghegan and husband Tom of Boerne, TX, Kimberly Renshaw and husband Wes Wauson of Fulshear, TX, grandchildren, Jason Renshaw, Amanda Renshaw, Jenna Beth Renshaw, Lee Renshaw, Loranne Renshaw, Brody Geoghegan, Haley Rosowsky, Shelby Renshaw Wauson, Jack Renshaw Wauson, great-grandchildren, Sarah Renshaw, Megan Renshaw, Shayla Pride, Robert Pride, Scarlette Pride, Shelby Fleming, Phoenix Rosowsky, and Winter Wauson. In addition to his wife, he is also preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Carroll and Leon Renshaw.
