Obituary of Manuel Francisco Aguilar
Memorial services for Manuel Francisco Aguilar age, 64, of Garland and formerly of Sulphur Springs will be held at 2:30 PM Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the St. James Catholic Church with Rev. Juan Carlos Sardinas officiating.
Manuel passed away on January 9, 2018 at his residence.
He was born om April 13, 1953 in Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico the son of Manuel Altamirano Aguilar and Gregoria Aguayo.
Manuel moved to Sulphur Springs in 1971 and he began working construction and then later in the restaurant industry. He worked at Sand Point Manufacturing, El Fenix, Francisco’s Restaurant and partnership in TaMolly’s in Jasper, TX and lately a Regional Manager with Little Caesar’s Pizza. Manuel was an avid baseball player and fan having played lots of Softball back in the 70’s and 80’s at the old Como
field.
He is survived by his wife Irma Antonia Aguilar; daughters, Isela Aguilar-Cardoza and Irma Aguilar and son Christopher Aguilar; son-in-law Manuel Cardoza, grandson Alex Garza, granddaughter Valeria Sanchez; mother Gregoria Aguayo and step-mother Maria Jesus Aguilar; half brothers and sisters; Ana Aguilar-Shew, Victor Aguilar, Anival Aguilar, Jessie Aguilar-Redding, Oscar Aguilar, Crimilda Aguilar-McAdams, Yadira Aguilar-Caruthers, Tony Aguilar, Rene Aguilar and Christopher Aguilar; Jesus Castro, Elena Castro, Araceli Castro, Tomas Castro.
He was preceded in death by his father and sister Frances Aguilar-Redding.
