Randy and I were classmates. He and I have been friends since grade school. He had the sharpest memory for names. He was so helpful with every reunion because e remembered everyone in our class; who they married; where they lived; and any other questions we might have in trying to locate them. He was an amazing person and my heart breaks that he suffered so much in his life. He was a god friend and I loved him. I am so sorry for your loss and ours. God bless you,

If the bond between two people is strong, even death cannot do them apart. At least you have beautiful memories to look back to. He might have gone away. But, he’s still right next to you. Love never dies. All I can say is, please take care of yourself, Randal was surely a gem of a person. He will be missed for his goodness in life. Sorry to hear about the loss. Stay strong and this shall pass with time.
In fond remembrance of Randal God bless and keep you.

I knew Randall for many years, mainly as a listener to KSST. He was a good source of information on topics we discussed on the Morning Show, and would frequently call in back when he was healthier. He seemed to have an excellent memory for names, dates and happenings that affected the local area. He contributed local bits and memories concerning where the mom and pop grocery stores were located around town, the old movie theaters, Dairy festivals of years past, and a lot about the original DQ and it's importance to the teens, also remembering friends of his who went off to war like he did. He was a dairyman and frequently shared facts about cows. He would occasionally pop in for a visit at the studio and once brought me an entire home-cooked breakfast during a holiday morning. Randall had a lot of friends and was well-remembered by everyone. He will be missed.
