when I first met Tyrese, he was a third grade student at Travis Elementary. He was always smiling and a pleasure to have. I have watched him carry on, over the years, growing into a sweet young man, always smiling. I will be praying for you all, knowing he is in a much better place...

To our beautiful cousins Joy Lorraine, Delandria, WC, Shirley, (Ty's father Pat Hall)and the rest of our family... Words cannot express the heartfelt sympathy we extend to you. I know that the sudden shock and unexpected pain is totally undescribable.... As the old Baptist hymn that we used to sing in church, (back in the days when Shirley was our beloved Sunday School teacher and when you (Joy) and I were always youth delegates to the 5th Sunday Meetings) says "Time is Filled With Swift Transitions", and it is. Sometimes we just have no answer for "WHY" but,as my precious mother always said, "we can only see right here but GOD can see wayyyy on down the road." She lived by these words because she, too, lost a son at only nine years old (only half Ty's age) when he was run over by a drunk driver. We have to trust in God and KNOW that He is STILL in control and that he makes no mistakes. Please know that my family and I are here for y'all, whatever the need may be. I leave you with this scripture (1st Corinthians 15:20-23) "But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep. For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ." Ty is just asleep right now. We will all see him again.

A candle has been lit to show you the way to a better place. Your journey started years ago, dark at times, but God lit a candle to show you the way. Now you are there, and we are still here, we now carry the candle to light our way. Prayers for the Joy and the Entire Family and Community.
