Obituary of Debbie Eppars
Funeral services for Debbie Griner Eppars, age 58, of Como, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 15, 2013 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel in Sulphur Springs with Bro. Leo Wisniewski officiating. Interment will follow at Connor Cemetery in Dike, with Gerald Wilburn, Johnny Carter, Greg Hoelscher, Lyle Wright, Kevin Keen, Zack Bass, Stacy Malone and Mike Nixon serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are her nephews, Bobby Joe Griner, Joshua Alkire, Jeremy Alkire, Jason Alkire and Jeffrey Rogers. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, December 14, 2013 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Mrs. Eppars went to be with the Lord Monday, December 9, 2013 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas. She was born September 30, 1955 in Dallas, TX, the daughter of Jobie and Patsy (Ray) Griner. She married Felton Wayne Eppars, Jr. on May 27, 1984 in Sulphur Springs. He survives. Mrs. Eppars was a graduate of Sulphur Springs High School, Class of 1974. She worked for several years delivering auto parts for Price Ford and OÂ’Reilly Auto Parts in Sulphur Springs before becoming a homemaker in 2006. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include two daughters, Candace Williams and Bubba Ball of Cumby and Emily Williams Simpson and husband Charley of Greenville, two sisters, Eda Mae Davis of Idaho and Lynda Weems of Como, grandchildren, Dixie Cregg, Mason Brown, Alycen Cregg, Garland Cregg and Coehn Simpson. She was preceded in death by her son, PFC Christopher Ryan Williams, father, Jobie Griner, brother, Joey Griner and nephew Joey Dixon.
