Obituary of Zettie Sheffield

Funeral services for Zettie Faye Sheffield, age 85, of Como will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 14, 2013 at West Oaks Funeral Home with Brother Tom Frisbee officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 prior to service time. Mrs. Sheffield passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Health South Hospital in Conroe. Mrs. Sheffield was born on August 20, 1928 in Pleasant Grove, TX, the daughter of Solomon and Calidonia (Holley) Turner. She married James Maurice Sheffield on April 8, 1946 in Winnsboro, TX. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Sheffield was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. She is survived by one son, Barry J. Sheffield and wife Kathleen of Haltom City, TX, one daughter, Ginger Sheffield Dyring and husband Timothy of Spring, TX, grandchildren, Cary White and wife Rachel of Houston, TX, Haley Smith and husband Byron of Ft. Worth, TX, great-grandchildren, Marlee and Sevryn White and Westin, Shay and Major Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Shane Sheffield, 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
