Obituary of Sherri Cille Anderson

Funeral services for Sherri Cille “Nona” Anderson, age 79, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Fred Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Shooks Chapel Cemetery with Tony Gene Smith, Cliff Anderson, Chris Anderson, Morgan Anderson, Steve Morrison, and Cephis Gregory serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Herbert Anderson, Francis Pogue, Don Deaton, Randy Hall and Clifford Anderson. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m., one hour prior to service time at West Oaks Funeral Home. Sherri passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2016 at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler. Sherri was born on June 24, 1937 in Sulphur Springs, the daughter of Richard Lester Teer and Veda May Clinton Teer. She married James Anderson in 1955 in Sulphur Springs and he preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. Sherri is survived by one son, Clint Anderson and wife Chandra of Oklahoma City, OK, one daughter, Amy Scroggins and husband Dickie of Sulphur Springs, grandchildren, Jennifer Scroggins of Sulphur Springs, Jeremy Scroggins and wife Krystle of Sulphur Springs, Jami Scroggins of Sulphur Springs, Laura Lane Morrison and husband Steve of Georgetown and Caleb Anderson of Manhattan, NY, and 5 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to The Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd, Tyler, Texas 75701.
