Obituary of Tyler Pence

Funeral services for Tyler Glenn Pence, age 15, of Cooper will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 14, 2013 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Howard Strickland officiating. Interment will follow at Miller Grove Cemetery with James Scott, Dell Storey, Clint Perkins and Chris Baldwin serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob White and Skylar Prock. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Tyler passed away Friday, November 8, 2013 at ChildrenÂ’s Hospital in Dallas. Tyler was born on June 20, 1998 in Dallas, TX, the son of Sean Phillip and Brandy Carol (Miller) Pence. He was a member of Miller Grove United Methodist Church where he was Baptized on August 23, 2009. Tyler is survived by his parents, sister, Katelyn Pence, maternal grandparents, Glenn and Laura Miller of Cumby, paternal grandparents, Mark and Debbie Pence of Cumby, aunts, Jennifer Newell of Tira, Shannon Pence Brown and Sarah Pence Albritton both of Sulphur Springs, great-grandfather, Phillip Pence of Carrollton, numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, James and Helen Perkins, Shannon Pence, Marshall and Loretta E. Miller.
