Obituary of Christopher O'Neil Hill

Graveside service for Christopher O’Neil Hill, 54, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2016 with Minster Aarron Shaw officiating. Burial will be at DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas TX 75211 with the United States Army providing military honors. Honorary pallbearers will be Samuel Gasaway, Steve Thompson, C. D. Dial, Earl Dial, Jonathan Franklin and Joseph Davis II. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Mr. Hill passed away September 16, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born November 17, 1961 in Sulphur Springs, the son of Elmer Dial and Late Celestine Hill. Mr. Hill served in the United States Army, attended Sulphur Springs High School and was an independent truck driver with Western Flyer. Survivors include, father, Elmer Dial of Sulphur Springs, step-father, Aubria W. Franklin, of San Francisco, CA, sisters, Florastine Sanders and Janeen Richberg, of Ft. Worth, TX, Freddie Alsobrooks, Veronica Dial, and Elvira Dial, of Sulphur Springs, TX, brothers, Tommy Madkins, of Dallas, TX, Charles Yarbough, of Sulphur Springs, and Fred Finney Dial and wife, Tina, of DeSoto, TX. He was preceded in death by his mother, Celestine Hill, sister, Yolanda Rena’ Franklin, and brother, James Roland.
