Obituary of Herman Hamrick

Born April 1, 1931 in Wood County, Texas to Arron and Viola Hamrick. Wayne grew up at Buckner Orphans Home in Dallas, Texas from 1939 through 1949. Wayne married his classmate Dessie Fay Hardin on July 22, 1950; they lived in Dallas, Texas and attended First Baptist Church Richardson, Texas for 19 years where Wayne served as a Deacon. Wayne was employed by John Deere Company in Dallas, Texas for thirty seven years. Upon his retirement from John Deere in 1986 he moved to Lone Oak, Texas to raise Limousin Cattle. Wayne was a member of First Baptist Church Sulphur Springs, Texas. He is survived by wife Dessie and two sons, Gordon Wayne and Doyle Craig Hamrick. Three granddaughters, Kelley Elizabeth Hamrick Fontenot, Jennifer Michelle and Catherine Leigh Hamrick. Great-granddaughter, Lyla Fontenot. Sisters, Juanita Walker, California, Novis Noivella, Tyler, Nancy Able, Caddo Mills and Faye Dell Sandlin of Bastrop, Texas and a host of brothers and sisters from Buckner Home, Dallas, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and two brothers.
