Obituary of Emma Caudle

Funeral service for Emma Floy “Polly” Caudle age 88 of Sulphur Springs will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 6, 2013 in West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Burns officiating. Interment will follow at Brashear Cemetery with Cody Jennings, Kevin McDonald, Daniel McDonald, Colton McDonald, Bradley Caudle, Bryan Caudle, Rhye Caudle, and Alex Ritchie serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Mrs. Caudle passed away at her residence on Monday, June 3, 2013 after an extended illness. She was born in Hopkins County, TX on October 27, 1924, the daughter of William Franklin and Ruby Alice Ward Green. She married J.D. “Pete” Caudle on October 25, 1942. He preceded her in death on February 10, 2000. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker, former Sunday school teacher, and a longtime member of Brashear Baptist Church. Her life revolved around her family. She is survived by two sons, Roger Caudle, Jimmy Caudle and wife Sherry both of Sulphur Springs, daughter, Linda Bolton and husband Gary of Brashear, Texas, grandchildren, Sherry Jennings, Stacey McDonald and husband Paul, Rodney Caudle and wife Jennifer, Ryan Caudle and wife Ann, Robyn Camby and husband Duane, Kristie Hillary and husband Shaun, and Jemma Caudle, great-grandchildren, Cody Jennings and wife Kayla, Kevin, Daniel, and Colton McDonald, Bradley and Bryan Caudle, Britney Bowen, Hannah and Rhye Caudle, Alex Ritchie, Ryan and Reid Camby, Brodie, Talon, and Dayton Hillary, and Aubree Wetzel, great-great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Bryli Jennings. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Brent Caudle, daughter-in-law, Nancy Caudle, three brothers, Lonzo, Murray, and Buford Green, and eight sisters, Eva and Rosa Green, Mae McPherson, Lillian Walls, Drucilla Walls, Ruth Farquhar, Juanita Delano, and Verna Wood.
