Obituary of Janelle Gillis

Funeral services for Janelle Gill Gillis, age 76, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 10:00 a.m, Thursday, October 10, 2013 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Don Sanders officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cumby with Chris Anderson, Cliff Anderson, Gill Anderson, Jim Gill,Mark Fouse and Charlie Fletcher serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 8, 2013 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Mrs. Gillis passed away Monday, October 7, 2013 at Carriage House Manor. Mrs. Gillis was born on February 17, 1937 in Paint Rock, TX the daughter of John Haskell and Loise Rice (Gill) Gillis. She married Bobby Gerald Gillis on February 2, 1959 in Sulphur Springs. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Gillis was a homemaker and of the Presbyterian faith. She is survived by her son, John Gillis and wife Deborah of Sulphur Springs, sister, Patty Fletcher of Sulphur Springs, grandchildren, Matthew Kyle Gillis of San Antonio.
