Obituary of Ricky Mahaffey

Graveside service for Richard Carlson Mahaffey, 42, of Houston, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Ridgeway Cemetery with Dr. Jimmy Henry officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 20, 2013 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Mr. Mahaffey passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at his residence. He was born on July 20, 1971 in Nashville, TN to Noble “Pete” Cyril, Jr. and Edna Lee (Bowman) Mahaffey. He worked at Precinct 4 in Harris County as Reserve Constable for several years, and later worked as a club manager. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Mahaffey is survived by his parents, brothers, Larry Hill and wife Julie of California, John Hill and wife Mary Ann of Houston, Randy Hill and wife Laura of Dallas, sisters, Odessa Lee Mahaffey of Deweyville, and Janice Johnson and husband Edward of Henderson.
