Jamie, life is only half here without you. Here is hope and faith that you are happy over there. Your decision to leave was so sudden, and I am still stunned. Mom
and at times, immobilized. I scrutinize every memory I have of you in my mind to try and find a significant clue that you were leaving. It's almost like a mystery story with a surprise ending, where you go back into the book and look for answers and clues you missed. Oh Jamie. Did I teach you to love the stage, or was it born in? Singing, drama, telling jokes and doing pantomime were your ways of entertaining. Your timing was great and you could morph into character so well. You loved to get a laugh, and you didn't wait for a stage...you shared your talent as part of everyday life, which was NEVER "everyday" with you around! Well, you held me in such a spell that I didn't see your exit coming. I feel like I'm still sitting in the darkened theater after everyone else has left. But your performance in life was stunning! Spectacular! Unmatched! You truly are the cherry on top of the fudge sundae of my life. "You're the Nile! You're the Tower of Pisa! You're the smile on the Mona Lisa. You're the purple light of a summer night in Spain, and the melody of a symphony, with chocolate and wine! You're the Coliseum, and the Top of the Louvre Museum. You're a polka dot dress, the Hotel California, you're Mickey Mouse!" Well, I changed a few words around in the song...but that would be perfectly alright with you. Whatever I do is perfectly alright with you, of that I am most certain. That's the part I miss the most, having your loving approval and you being a huge fan of ME, the person lucky enough to be your Mom. You were a gift from the moment I laid eyes on you. I am blessed to have been the one there to lay my eyes on you as you rested so beautifully even in death. During the years in between, we shared so much. Now, you will never grow old or lose your beauty or vitality. You'll always be remembered as loving, happy and oh so talented. You blessed so many with your gifts! Still the question remains, why did you leave the stage in the middle of a song? When I see you, please tell me. Your loving Mom and biggest fan.

Jamie was a beautiful person inside and out. I met her during my prerequisite classes for nursing. She was always willing to go that extra mile to help others without second thought. Though our time was short in being acquainted with each other, I can definitely say she was an inspiration. Jamie, you will truly be missed.

Randy,
I am truly sorry for your loss. I know that you were both each others soul mate.I know some of her last words were how much she loved you and you made her happy. The last time I saw her she said how much she loved being your wife and could not wait to have ya'lls grand ceremony. But there were other things that could not be controlled and we know she is at peace with Jesus.Just know that she will NOW always be right beside you buddy every second, right where she loved to be. Myself and all your family are here for you and will be through it all. Truth prevails!
Love your sister Tami
