Obituary of Dowling Gregory

Graveside service for Dowling Kenneth Gregory, 88, of Yantis, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 16, 2013 at Yantis Cemetery with Bro. Jeremy Durig officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, September 15, 2013 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Mr. Gregory passed away on September 12, 2013 at Heritage Nursing Home in Quitman, TX. He was born on April 20, 1925 in Yantis, TX to Dowling and Hessie Moncrief Gregory. He served in the United States Army and was of the Baptist Faith. He married Jouanita Gregory and she preceded him in death. Mr. Gregory is survived by daughter, Marcia Davis of Conroe, TX, grandsons, Byron and Blake Davis, also of Conroe, TX, and numerous cousins.
