Peggy,
I have known you a long time and I used to come by and see you at work. I was so glade when you and Edward started going together. I knew Ed. too a long time and he was a very good man and I know God brought you and him together, because it is so lonely when we are left alone. I saw how happy you made him and how happy he made you and all the things you all did together were great. That is what you will take with you this day forward. Like I have with my Sam, and Sam thought a lot of Edward and liked to talk to him. My wish for you is to be safe and remember all the things about him you loved and you and God will get you through all of this stuff called life. Always on my mind as Boots is and your family is Love you Barbara A. Merrill

I had the honor of working with Ed at E-Systems from 1977 until the day he retired. Ed was professional in all respects. He was always encouraging and helpful. He treated everyone with respect and was always ready to lend a helping hand. The world needs more men like Ed. I will miss him...

What joy Edward brought into our family twelve years ago. We overwhelmed him at times but he always handled any situation with a smile and grace. The kind and thoughtful gestures he offered our Peggy on a daily basis cemented our love and respect for him. We're all better people for having had the opportunity to know Edward Clark. A true gentleman of the old school.

Julie and Bridgette,
My deepest condolences for the loss of your father... I will always remember his wonderful laugh. He used to work with my step-father at E-Systems and of course your mom was my first grade teacher (I still talk about her to this day). May God bring you both comfort at this time and know that many people have nothing but great memories of both of your parents.

Julie & Bridgette,
You know how very special your family has always been to me. Have fond memories of babysitting you two and having Edward & Verta as long time neighbors and friends. Love you both and my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Julie and Bridgette: We loved your dad very much. While we lived at Cumby, both your mom and dad provided wonderful friendship for us. In our early years of marriage, they both offered wonderful advice and examples for us to follow. Your dad was responsible for helping Randy to obtain his first good job after college at E-Systems. You both come from two wonderful people that led by example. We still miss your mom and now will certainly miss your dad. I can still hear his distinctive laugh "Ha, ha, ha" in my ears. I am sure he is in heaven laughing with your precious mother right now.
