Obituary of Arleta Mae Coleman

Funeral services for Arleta Mae Coleman, age 75, of Gun Barrel City, formerly of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 4, 2014 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ed Brennan officiating. Interment will follow at Sherley Cemetery with Daniel Coleman, Bryan Watson, Aaron Boyd, Allen Boyd, Dale Boyd, and Rowdy Plummer serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 3, 2014 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Mrs. Coleman passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler. Mrs. Coleman was born on July 20, 1939 in Pontiac MI, the daughter of Donal and Elanor (Lockwood) Lothrop. She married Ronald Coleman on October 22, 1959 in Lancaster, TX. He survives. Mrs. Coleman was a homemaker and also worked for United American insurance for many years. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Michael Dale Coleman and wife Amy D. of Kaufman, Wesley Glenn Coleman and wife Amy Ann of Terrell, daughter, Vicki Lynn Boyd and husband Robert Dale of Tool, brothers, Fred Lothrop, Joseph Abrum, David Bahrke and Garry Hill, sisters, Jackie Fry, Sue Elowsky, Beverlee Booth Axtail and Linda Bohannon, grandchildren, Daniel Coleman, Dale Boyd, Kimberly Housley, Rowdy Plummer, Aaron Boyd, Allen Boyd, Bryan Watson and Alicia Walden, great-grandchildren, Aaron Wilbur and Seth Housley.
