Obituary of Janie Perkins

Funeral services for Janie Perkins, age 63, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 5, 2014 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Eason officiating. Interment will follow at Elm Cemetery with Jay Sanders, Monty Tipps, B. J. Bayuk, Robert Stidham, Ronny Doss and Norman Colyer serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the City of Sulphur Springs employees. Janie passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Sunny Springs Nursing Home. Janie was born on August 2, 1951 in Hopkins County the daughter of Albert Grady and Edna Durene (Yarborough) Wyatt. She married Billy Perkins on February 21, 1970 in Sulphur Springs. He survives. Janie worked as records manager for the Sulphur Springs Police Department for 29 years and was a member of Cross Spur Cowboy Church. She is survived by her son, Dale Perkins and wife Amy of China Spring, TX, daughter Emmy Logan and husband Brian of Sulphur Springs, sisters, Betty Julian of Sulphur Springs, Linda Gallagher of Point Blank, TX, Kathy Sanders of Sulphur Springs, grandchildren, Cody Perkins, Cade Perkins, Lexie Logan, Hunter Culpepper and Holdan Culpepper.
