Obituary of Kenneth Wayne Pinson

Funeral services for Kenneth Wayne Pinson will be held Wednesday, September 3, at 1:00 p.m. at Lake Fork Baptist Church with Pastor Perry Crisp and Robert Lane officiating. Military graveside honors by the Hopkins County Military will follow at Lake Fork Cemetery with Dan Sheffield, Bobby Anderton, Ron Dager, Greg Robinson, Les Castleberry, Ted Ragland, Mike Vaughn, and Tod Byrd serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Ronnye Brown, Claude Dunn, Jim Herrod, Jeff Norris, Walter Crum and Lynn Morrison. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Mr. Pinson died August 30, 2014. He was born in Hunt County on December 11, 1945. He was a devoted member of Lake Fork Baptist Church. He retired from Vought Aircraft in 2001. He was a beloved father, husband, brother, grandfather and uncle. Mr. Pinson is survived by his wife, Wanda of Emory, son Kelly of Arlington, daughter, Karen Taylor and husband, Joe of Highland Village and faithful companion, Graci, brothers, Horace and wife Nancy, Jack Pinson, John Gennusa, Dallas; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was a devoted and loving grandfather to Austin Taylor and grand dogs, Kirby and Montana. He was preceded in death by his parents, A. D and Era Pinson.
