Margaret (Momma) was the most wonderful mother-n-law a girl could ever ask for. Heart of gold and so loving. She was what every girl wants as a mother-n-law she was my best friend, honest with me and treated me like I was her own daughter. I love this woman more than words can describe. I will always miss that laughter and how she would tell me "You stole my baby boy from me" and laugh afterwards. I love and miss you Momma and so does your baby boy!!!

I met Margaret many years ago at the Newcomers' Club here
in Sulphur Springs. When ever we went to Fox Worth
or Fix N Feed she was the first to greet everyone with a
beautiful smile and a heartfelt welcome. She will be
missed but never forgotten.

Donnie worked with Margaret for 16 years at Foxworth Galbraith and that is how I got to know her. Margaret was always smiling, friendly and helpful to all. Donnie said that one of her favorite sayings at Foxworh was, "Do you want to talk to a man or the woman who knows what's going on?" We will miss her and her sweet smile.

Margaret and I worked together at Foxworth Galbraith in Sulphur Springs while I was in high school, 1984-85 range. Margaret always wore that signature smile of hers and her friendly fun-loving personality was always infectious and lifted everyone up that came into contact with her. During those years when I worked with her, I referred to her as my second Mom. I remember that sometimes during our lunch breaks we would run eat chili dogs together at the Dairy Queen. We both thought the DQ had the best chili dogs in town. I resigned from Foxworth Galbraith to go to college. I still popped in at Foxworth Galbraith some over the years and could always count on Margaret greeting me and calling me “Jaybird” when I came into the store, but we lost touch after Foxworth Galbraith closed the store in Sulphur Springs.
Margaret was a wonderful person and I am so thankful that our lives crossed paths. My heart is low today. I want to express my sincerest condolences to Margaret’s family.
