I am very saddened at the news of the passing of Aunt Ruth. I have so many wonderful memories of her coming to visit Grandma Thompson. Grandma, Aunt Ruth and mom would sit around the kitchen table and talk all night. My thoughts and prayers to her family! Brenda Purdy Goodvin.

My heart goes out to all, loved chatting with Aunt Ruth on the phone when she would call my Father(Gene Jimmerson) . I was searching records trying to find my Grandmothers grave sight and I came across Aunt Ruth's obituary. My heart dropped. Not a day goes by that I don't think about my dad, He was my best friend. And he loved Aunt Ruth so much. She was his only tie to his mother, and enjoyed listening to their stories... so sad there is so many of my family members at I have never met, and soon all their old stories will be go e as well. God bless.
