Obituary of Inez Jenkins

Funeral services for Inez Jenkins, age 84, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 26, 2014 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bruce Stinson officiating. Interment will follow at Reilly Springs Cemetery with Jeremy Jenkins, Lanny Jenkins, Kevin Jenkins, Yogi Davis, Rick Venable, Jacob Mazoch and Jerry Crabtree serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 25, 2014 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Mrs. Jenkins passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Jenkins was born on July 31, 1929 in Greenville, TX, the daughter of Isaac Emmanuel “Manuel” Driggers and Valerie Inez Franklin Driggers. She married R. D. “Billy” Jenkins on February 26, 1953 in Hope, AR. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Jenkins was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. Mrs. Jenkins is survived by three sons, Dan Jenkins of Sulphur Springs, Manuel Jenkins and wife Angie of Sulphur Springs and Ron Jenkins and wife Janet of Pittsburg, PA, sister, Evelyn Page of San Diego, CA, grandchildren, Jeremy Jenkins of Rockwall, Jala Jenkins and Joshua Jenkins both of Sulphur Springs, Paul Jenkins, Chris Jenkins and Michael Jenkins all of Pittsburg, PA, and Jacob Mazoch of Sulphur Springs.
