Obituary of Gretta Marie Fulbright
Gretta Marie Fulbright went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, May 30, 2014. Services to celebrate the life and memory of Gretta will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 1, 2014 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Fred Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery with Buddy Walker, Key Walker, Chris Bingham, Brian Bingham, Bobby McCoy, Ronny Irby, and Johnny Irby serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Don Deaton. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, May 31, 2014 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Gretta was born on March 9, 1926 in Hopkins County the daughter of Clifton Emory and Cappie (Irby) Knotts. She married William Martin Fulbright on December 23, 1944 in Mt. Pleasant. He preceded her in death. Gretta was a nurse, working for Dr. Lester Hodges for over 20 years and then worked at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital until she retired. She loved flowers and working in her yard. She had a servant's heart and was never happier than when serving others. She is survived by her daughter Brenda McFadden and husband Gary of Hawkins, grandson Bradley McFadden, wife Faith, and great-granddaughter Helen of Sulphur Springs, grandson Cary McFadden, wife Jenn, and great-granddaughter Brylee of Lewisville, daughter-in-law Peggy Fulbright, granddaughter Gail McCoy Bingham, husband Chris, and great-grandson, Brian of Royce City, grandson Bobby McCoy and wife Andrea of Plano, and one brother Don Knotts of San Marcus.
