Obituary of Mary Jo Wells

Graveside services for Mary Jo Wells, age 96, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 19, 2014 at Lane’s Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Eugene Adams officiating. Mrs. Wells passed away Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Rock Creek Health and Rehab. Mrs. Wells was born on March 23, 1918 the daughter of Richard and Bonnie Lee (Brown) Smith. She married Clyde A. Wells on December 11, 1937 Bogata, TX. He preceded her in death on August 11, 1977. Mrs. Wells was a homemaker and a member of Lane’s Chapel Baptist Church. She is survived by sons, Richard Allen Wells and wife Kay of Lamesa, TX, Johnny C. Wells and wife Kathie of Sulphur Springs, TX, brother, R. L. Smith and wife Joyce of Arlington, TX, sister, Shirley Monroe and husband Lee of Georgetown, TX, grandchildren, Debbie Moore of Longview, TX, Megan McCoy and husband Todd of Sulphur Springs, TX, Ian Wells and wife Jeannie of Sulphur Springs, TX, great-grandchildren, Marina and Connor Moore and Ben Risner.
