Obituary of Laura Lynn VanBibber

Funeral services for Laura Lynn VanBibber, age 46, of Emory will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 19, 2014 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Hansen Wakeman and Jason Rolen officiating. Interment will follow at Nelta Cemetery with Chase Jackson, Danny Wilburn, Jason Cunningham, Brandon Brown, Donny Foster, Mike Flippin, Joe Autry and Darren Renshaw serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Hopkins House and Copper Home Health Care. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m., prior to service time. Laura passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. Laura was born on April 10, 1968 in Sulphur Springs, the daughter of Gary and Sarah (Clark) Stevens. She married Russell VanBibber on October 8, 1990 in Commerce, TX. He survives. Laura was a certified nurses aid and a member of Believers Baptist Church in Emory. In addition to her husband she is survived by her parents, sister, Pam Weidman and husband David of Mt. Vernon, numerous nieces and nephews, and her babies, Willie, Tallie and CoCo. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Rains Youth Sports Association, P. O. Box 442, Emory, TX, 75440.
