Obituary of Allen DeWayne Seymore, Sr.

Funeral services for Allen DeWayne Seymore, Sr., age 62, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 15, 2014 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Clements and Rev. John Hailey officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery with Larry Layton, Carlos Barela, David Goolsby, John Haley, Steve Anderson, Jason Birchfield and Nickolas Seymore serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Tully and Christopher Seymore. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Mr. Seymore passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. Mr. Seymore was born on June 7, 1951 in Abilene, TX, the son of Charles Edward and Billie (Henderson) Seymore. Mr. Seymore was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the United States Army. He then went to work for the United States Postal Service. He is survived by children, April Seymore Dossett and husband Jody of Rockwall, Tammy Husband of Greenville, Allen DeWayne Seymore, Jr. and wife Angela of Paris, TX, Melony Rowan and husband Kenneth of Rockwall, TX, Richard Seymore and wife Amanda of Illinois, sister Suzie Herman of Lake Fork, TX, grandchildren, Christopher and Nickolas Seymore, Riley Husband, Taylor and Kadence Seymore, Kenzie and Markie Rowan, Riley and Conner Seymore.
