Obituary of Benny Ray Cunningham

Funeral services for Benny Ray Cunningham, age 77, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 29, 2014 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Savage officiating. Interment will follow at Gafford Chapel Cemetery with Terry Cunningham, Joshua Cunningham, Aaron Randolph, Larry Coke, Joe David Kelley and Harold McClure serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 prior to service time. Mr. Cunningham passed away Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Carriage House Manor. Mr. Cunningham was born on December 2, 1936 in Sulphur Springs the son of D. F. and Evie May (Davis) Cunningham. He married Carolyn Bartlett on November 16, 1984 in Sulphur Springs. She preceded him in death on June 27, 2009. Mr. Cunningham retired from Rockwell International where he was a machinist and he was a member of League Street Church of Christ. He is survived by one son, Terry Cunningham wife Kim of Sulphur Springs, step-son, Harold McClure and wife Chebna of Sulphur Springs, sisters, Sybil Coke of Sulphur Springs and Mammie Joyce Krkosha of Irving, grandchildren, Josh Cunningham, Aaron Randolph, Branda Redar, Derek McClure, Blake McClure and Brooke McClure. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Barry Cunningham, brother, Bobby Cunningham. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to League Street Church of Christ, 1100 S.
