Obituary of Lorraine Marrion Lacey

Graveside services for Lorraine Marrion (Nugent) Lacey, age 81, of Cumby, TX, will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Miller Grove Cemetery with Rev. Perry Crisp officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Mrs. Lacey passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Northeast GA Medical Center in Gainesville, GA. Mrs. Lacey was born on May 13, 1932 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, the daughter of Charles and Florene (Schneby) Nugent. She married Cullen Prentice Lacy in Zavalla, TX. He preceded her in death on November 27, 2013. Mrs. Lacey was a homemaker and a member of Lake Fork Baptist Church. She is survived by sons, Gary Lacey of Gainesville, GA, Tom Lacey and wife Nancy of McKinney, Daniel Lacey and wife Sabrina of Garland, Charles Lacey of McKinney, daughter, Carolyn Stratton and husband Rev. Kurt Stratton of Frisco, sister, Georgene Brown, 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Allen Wayne Lacey, brothers, Charles Nugent and Newell Nugent.
