Obituary of Willie Marie Calhoun

Funeral services for Willie Marie Calhoun, age 69, of Sulphur Springs, TX, will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Martin Luther King Church Of Christ with Pastor Andre Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at Mel Haven Cemetery with Tony Jackson, Lawrene Green, Corey Spigner, Sabastion Wade, Gamy Green, Tavarus Jones and Dante Wade serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Calhoun passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Carriage House Manor. Mrs. Calhoun was born on September 16, 1944, the daughter of Willie Troy Wade and Narvis Williams Wade. She was a certified nurse assistant and a homemaker. She is survived by sons, Jerry Calhoun and wife Makesha, David Calhoun, Dave Calhoun, JR. and wife Lula, and Terry Calhoun, daughter, LaTonya Knighten, brothers, Danny Wade and wife Laura, Donny Wade and wife Katrina, sisters, Myrtle Morris, Nina White and husband Albert, 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
