Obituary of Billy Jay Doty, Jr.

Memorial services for Billy Jay Doty, Jr., 66, of Emory will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 15, 2014 at West Oaks Funeral Home with Rev. C.J. Duffey officiating. There will be no formal visitation. Billy passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at his residence. He was born on November 17, 1947 in San Angelo, TX, the son of Billy Jay, Sr. and Velma Rayburn Doty. He married Jo Ann Wells. She survives. Billy worked as a supervisor for UPS for many years. In addition to his wife, he is also survived by son, Stephen Doty and wife Stefanie of Rockwall, daughter, Amber Dearman and husband Ottis of Perkinston, MS, brother, Robert Doty and wife Gina of Abilene, sister, Mary Allen and husband Mark of Runaway Bay, grandchildren, Brittany Dearman, Elise, Beck, and Lucy True Doty, and great-granddaughter, Aubree Smith.
