Obituary of Gloria Neal

Funeral services for Gloria Ann Neal, age 60, of Miller Grove will be conducted at 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 8, 2013 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Al Garza and Bro. Jim Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Cumby with Robert Lea, Kevin Winkle, Scott McWhirter, Mark Rodriguez, Leo Estrada, and Chris Songer serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Victor Quiroz and Rey Rodriguez. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, April 7, 2013 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Mrs. Neal passed away Friday, April 5, 2013 at her residence. Gloria was born on December 1, 1952 in San Antonio, TX the daughter of Tony Rodriguez Quiroz and Elvia Ozuniga Quiroz. She married Walter M. Neal on November 15, 1996 in Rockwall, TX. He survives. She was a homemaker and a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church of Cumby. In addition to her husband she is survived by daughters, Barbara Lea of Cumby, TX, Velvet McWhirter of Littleton, CO, Nicole Winkle of Amarillo, TX. Sisters, Vera Estrada of San Antonio, TX, Dolores Rodriguez of Waxahachie, TX, and Patricia Guerra of Dallas, TX. Brothers, Tony Quiroz, Jr., and Victor Quiroz of San Antonio, TX. Grandchildren, Robert Lea, Tiphanie Lea, Raina McWhirter, Owen McWhirter, Jace McWhirter, Piper Bardwell, Caleb Barker, Michael Songer, Brittany Songer, and Hannah Songer.
