Obituary of Beatrice Johnson

Funeral services for Beatrice Johnson “Mama Bea”, age 86, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 8, 2013 at the Cypress Baptist Center with Rev. Rudy Ellis Officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 prior to service time. Interment will follow at Coffee Cemetery with Jerome Johnson, Orlando Johnson, Nolan Johnson, Tyrone Clayton, Ricky Young and Manley Sims, Jr. serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Johnson passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at Rock Creek Health and Rehab. Mrs. Johnson was born on March 17, 1926 in Hopkins County, the daughter of Charlie and Rosa Lee (Stribling) Young. She married Lois Johnson and he preceded her in death. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker and a member of Galilee Baptist Church. She is survived by sons, Larry Johnson and wife Janice of Sulphur Springs and Noah Johnson of Como, sister, Flora Lee of Dallas, TX, 8 grandchildren, 16 great-great grandchildren, she was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Evelyn Johnson, 7 brothers and 8 sisters.
