Obituary of Cleo Sprueill

Funeral services for Mrs. Cleo Sprueill, age 89 of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 8, 2013 in the West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Charles Rawlinson officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Franklin County with Paul Pogue, Joe Nickerson, Johnny Bryant, Jason Bryant, Lee Sprueill, and J.R. Rushing serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Sammy Porter and Joe Kelley. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 7, from 6–8 p.m. at West Oaks Funeral Home. Mrs. Sprueill passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Carriage House Manor. Cleo was born on September 25, 1923, in Latimer County, OK, the daughter of Isaac and Coatney Sturgeon. Cleo worked as a housekeeper in the nursing home industry. A member of the Baptist faith, she is survived by sons, Rodney Harding and wife Jonnas of Jonesboro, AR, Lloyd Paul Brannon and wife Dorothy of Florence, AZ, Roger Sprueill and wife Raejean of Winnsboro, Donnie Sprueill and wife Stephanie of Winnsboro, Danny Sprueill and wife D.J. of Pittsburgh; daughters, Connie Rushing of Sulphur Springs, Linda Bryant and husband Bennie of Sulphur Springs, Karen Wammack and husband Michael of Sulphur Springs, special granddaughter, Amy McClure and husband Brian of Sulphur Springs; sisters, Dooley Pharr of Washington and Patsy Akin and husband Robert of Arkansas; 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 3 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Darrell Harding, and Sunny Harding, granddaughter, Tamra Adair, great-great-grandson, Eathan Martin, 5 brothers and 6 sisters.
