Obituary of Patricia Patterson

Funeral service for Patricia Ann Patterson, age 80, of Yantis, will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the First Assembly of God in Hawkins with Bro. Don Majors and Bro. Jeff Karlson officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Pisgah Cemetery with Michael Kocher, Kris Karlson, Todd Wright, Jim Patterson, Michael McPhearson, and Aaron Self serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jamie Rogers, Kenny Self, and Kevin Huettenmueller. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, February 8, 2013 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Mrs. Patterson passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at her residence. She was born on April 11, 1932 in La Crosse, WI, the daughter of George Wagner and Miriam June (Lowe) Ferrell. She married Jessie Wilburn Patterson on March 12, 1949 in Overton, TX. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Patterson was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God in Hawkins. She is survived by children, Pam Sims of Ohio, Jim Patterson of Hawkins, Nancy Eitson of Hawkins, Michael Patterson of San Diego, CA, Starla Myers of Yantis, Donald Patterson of Gilmer, sister, Judith Jones of Oklahoma City, OK, brothers, Courtney Farrell of Ft. Meyers, FL, Dennis Farrell of Tulsa, OK, 17 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by, son, Daniel Patterson, brothers, Leon and Jim Wagner, and great-grandson, Brad Austin Wright. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Assembly of God Church, 102 Harris St. Hawkins, TX 75765.
