Obituary of Lillian Richey

Funeral services for Lillian Richey, age 96, of Rowlett, formerly of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 21, 2012 at West Oaks Funeral Home with Dr. Jimmy Henry officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Forest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., prior to service time at West Oaks Funeral Home. Lillian Richey was born in Hopkins County to Ethel and Dewitt Crump on December 8, 1916 and passed away December 17, 2012 at Rowlett Nursing & Rehab. She lived all of her life in Sulphur Springs, except a short time in Brownsfield, TX, and the last 15 years in Dallas sharing time between her two daughters. She was preceded in death by her husband, O. B. Richey, and a son, Benny Dean Richey, five sisters and two brothers. Survivors include: brother, N. A. Crump, sons, Bobby Richey, Rodney Harold Richey and wife, Sherry, daughters, Jackie Thompson and husband John, Linda Price and husband, Bob, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson and many, many nieces and nephews.
