Obituary of Daniel Plunkett

Funeral services for Daniel Plunkett, age 68, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, October 25, 2012 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Nalls officiating. Interment will follow at Como Cemetery with John Gordon, Dean Wade Gordon, Charles Teague, James Plunkett, Michael Hanks and Christopher Plunkett serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Mr. Plunkett passed away Sunday, October 21, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Plunkett was born on September 21, 1944 in Ringgold, LA, the son of Lee Roy and Eunice Viola (Potts) Plunkett. He married Billie Joyce Nalls on October 4, 1963 in Cleburne, TX. She preceded him in death on January 21, 2010. Mr. Plunkett was a self-employed carpenter. He is survived by sons, Jeff Plunkett and wife Shaleena, Danny Plunkett and wife Tammy and Charlie Plunkett, daughters, Pam Teague and husband John, Tonyia White and husband Peyton and Mary Plunkett and Tony Darby, grandchildren, Charlie Teague, Casey and Chris Ragsdill, Rickey Plunkett, Jeffery Plunkett, Jessica Plunkett, Allyson Plunkett, Harley Plunkett, Courtney Plunkett, Corporal Zachary White and Colton White, great-grandchildren, Kendall Ragsdill, Cadden Ragsdill and Railynn Plunkett, 2 brothers and 4 sisters along with numerous nieces and nephews.
