Obituary of Carson Vaughan

Funeral services for Carson Lee Vaughan, 2 year old son of Ryan Vaughan and Brittany Johnston of Cumby, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 15, 2012 at West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Burns officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Cumby with Zachary Johnston, Rusty Vaughan, Daniel Foster, Larry White, Barry Strickland, and Jason Walton serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Dustin Clem, Travis Furguson, Josh Strickland, and Johnny Carter. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, October 14, 2012 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Carson passed away on Friday, October 12, 2012 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. He was born on June 8, 2010 in Sulphur Springs, TX. In addition to his parents, Carson is survived by paternal grandparents, Ricky and Carla Vaughan of Cumby, maternal grandparents, Khrystie and David Baxter of Cumby, Stevan and Angie Johnston of Alba, great-grandparents, Alice Hall of Cumby, William and Betty Baxter of Cumby, John and Judy Marical of Alba, Carrol Johnston of Alba, great-grandmother, Cheryl Bunch of Saratoga, AR, uncles, Rickey James Vaughan of GA, Rusty Vaughan of Cumby, Zachary Johnston of Alba, aunt, Stefany Baxter of Cumby, and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles. He was preceded in death by great-grandfather, Edward “Pa” Hall and great-grandparents, O.H. and Velma Vaughan. Arrangements are under the direction of West Oaks Funeral Home.
