Obituary of Kathy Moody

Kathy Ann Moody, age 63, of Brashear passed away Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Moody was born on June 9, 1949 in Arkansas City, Kansas the daughter of Harvey N. and Zella P. (Huff) Venn. She married Samuel T. Moody, Sr., in June of 1969 in Waxahachie, TX. He survives. Mrs. Moody worked as a medication aid and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her husband she is survived by sons, Samuel T. Moody, Jr. of Brashear, Bobby Moody and wife Tonya of Scroggins, daughters, Marjorie K. Saenz and husband Leo of Winfield, KS, Zella Rubio and husband Gabriel of Brashear, TX, brothers, Harvey Venn and wife Glenna of Winfield, KS, Charles Venn and wife Marsha of MO, Curtis Venn of Willow Springs, MO, Jerry Venn and wife Stella of Winfield, KS, Jack Venn of OK, sister, Phyllis Jackson and husband Bill of Willow Springs, MO, grandchildren, Leo Issac Saenz, Gabriel A. Rubio, Jr., Monica N. Rubio, Blaine Moody and Chance Moody, great-grandchildren, Aliviynne Saenz, Adler Saenz and Novalynn Rubio. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Dennis Venn.
