Obituary of Johnny Elliott

Military graveside honors for Johnny Young Elliott, age 74, of Corpus Christi, TX, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 15, 2012 by the Hopkins County Military Coalition with Rev. Sean Maloney officiating. There will be no formal visitation. Mr. Elliott passed away Sunday, September 9, 2012 at his sonÂ’s residence. Mr. Elliott was born on September 21, 1937 in Hopkins County the son of Robert Everett and Jessie Marie (Lamm) Elliott. He married Martha Jean Armstrong on May 23, 1964 in Sulphur Springs, TX. She survives. Mr. Elliott worked in the field of computer accounting. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the St. Bartholomew Episcopal Church. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Leslie Lee Rudy and husband Greg of Spring, TX, Johnny Y. Elliott, Jr. and wife Jerusha of Rockwall, TX, Robert A. (Tony) Elliott and wife Holli of Rowlett, TX, grandchildren, Taylor, Blayke, Bailey, Abigail, Jessica, Emily, Brentyn, Jonathan, Taylor, Caleb and Joshua, brothers, Robert Elliott and wife Elaine of Midlothian, TX, and Larry Elliott of Lake Fork, TX.
