Obituary of Lena Hall

Funeral services for Lena Faye Hall, age 78, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 9, 2013 at Morning Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Harold B. Nash, Sr. officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., Thursday, August 8, 2013 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Interment will follow at East Caney Cemetery with Da Kieston Johnson, DaQualin Evans, Colton Evans, Fred Harris, Jeff Evans, Rashad Hall, Bryan Vaughn and Mike Porter serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Benard Vaughn, Terry Williams, Sam Porter, Jr., Ravis Thomas, David Gordon and Charles Thompson. Miss Hall passed away Friday, August 2, 2013 at Sulphur Springs Health and Rehab. Lena was born on March 2, 1935 in Sulphur Springs the daughter of Arthur T. and Mattie Mae (Wilkerson) Hall. Lena was a member of East Caney Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Marilyn Joyce Evans, Richard Earl Hall, Francine Hall, Donald Ray Hall and Rodney OÂ’Neal Hall all of Sulphur Springs, brother, Bobby Joe Hall, sisters, Helen Ruth Wright, Evelyn Rose Harris, Virginia Joyce Porter, Margie Louise Williams and Patricia Ann Vaughn all of Sulphur Springs, grandchildren, Tyra Evans, Larry Evans (Na Kesha) all of Sulphur Springs, Kevin Evans (Afra) of Dallas, La Tonya Dugan (Damon) of Sulphur Springs, Brian Evans of Dallas, Kimberly Johnson (Junior) of Sulphur Springs, Allan Hall, Keylon and Jamia and Rashad Hall all of Sulphur Springs, 18 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Ray Charles Evans, and infant son, brothers, Billy J.
