Obituary of Polly Voss

Funeral services for Polly Voss, age 86, of Wylie, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 30, 2012 at West Oaks Funeral Home with Rev. Doyle Henderson officiating. Interment will follow at Mahoney Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m., one hour prior to service time. Mrs. Voss passed away Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Methodist Richardson Medical Center in Richardson. Mrs. Voss was born on August 2, 1925 in Mathias, West Virginia the daughter of Bell E. and Gervasius (Whetzel) Mathias. She married Murray M. Voss and he preceded her in death. Mrs. Voss was an accounting clerk for Safeco Insurance before she retired. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wylie. She is survived by one son Varnell Voss and wife Anne, grandsons, John Voss and Brad Voss all of Garland.
